What 15mm manufacturer would you advice for making up some nice warbands for Song of Blades and Heroes? I mean, well detailed miniatures, in different poses, variety of ranges, possibility of mixing fantasy and historical types (I would like to do both fantasy and historical skirmish with the rules). Ideally, selling single miniatures. And shipping to Europe. If you would choose only one manufacturer, which would you tell? Thank you in advance.

That's easy. Splintered Light here in the USA:

These are some of the finest 15mm models I've ever seen. And he even sells them in warbands of mixed miniatures for less than $15. USD

He sells a nice mix of historicals and fantasy. His range even has its own "Song" from the folks who gave you SBH. It's called "Songs of the Splintered Lands". That book covers his semi-Narnia range of miniatures. You can get that at his site or at Drivethru RPG.

Rebel Miniatures also makes an excellent line of fantasy and ancient miniatures too that mix very nicely with Splintered Light. Heck, the guys split a booth at many HMGS conventions here in the states:

Rebel Mike's Mighty Armies army sets are pretty big for SBH, but you can't beat the price and the quality is very good. So just between these two companies you're spoiled for choices in 15mm.

Second the recommendations for SLM and Rebel. I would add Khurasan – especially the Great Enemy range.

Also, the character packs from Copplestone are awesome –

Make that a third endorsement. Best figs you can find.

Thanks for mentioning SLM, everyone. I am going to be adding some "good" warbands tonight so that will open up more options.

I would also point out that my SONG OF THE SPLINTERED LANDS is readily adaptable to almost any figures, though it is written for SLM's 20mm range. It is three campaigns for SBH: the first is an outlaw hunt pitting a force of elite but irreplaceable "bad guys" against a succession of weaker but keep-coming-in-waves "good guys." Or vice versa.

Second is a classic guerrilla campaign based on Mao TseTung's three phases.

Third is the slow construction of a strategic hamlet in enemy territory, with the garrison reenforced (if it survives) after each of a series of escalating attacks.

Lots of extra rules, including hidden movement, variable force strengths tied to victory conditions, and variable objectives. So enemy warbands can be together on the table with neither knowing just where the enemy is, which force is stronger, or what the other guy is trying to accomplish.

Agreed re. Copplestone:

Yep, for my money top choices in no particular order are:
Splintered Light
Khurasan Miniatures
Rebel Minis

Blue Moon is another option for Song of Drums and Shakos or Mutants and Deathray Guns, but has fewer fantasy figures for SoBaH.

How do the Demonworld minis compare in size to the Splintered Light figs? I've always liked the Demonworld forces.

Depends on the race. The humans are taller and thicker than mine. Orcs and goblins and dwarves are probably the same size.

I don't have any of Khurasan's fantasy figures so I can't say anything about them, but I do collect his sci-fi figures and they are top notch!

Splintered Light ftw. Also I'll throw in props for Song of the Splintered Lands mentioned above. I have two large war bands for it, led by my rascally irrepressible Archer Rabbit, Montague of Carrotsley.

I love Splintered Light figs too! I've probably got a thousand 15mm fantasy figs individiually mounted in my case. They range from all different makes, from Ral Partha Battlesystem to Chariot, and I must say SL's are among my favories!
