Sad to read of Mr. Eisenhower's passing. When I first saw "So Far From God" at the bookstore, I didn't realize it was the son of Dwight. Apparently, the book was a big personal achievement for John, since it wasn't affiliated with his father in any way…A very good book and always gets me tempted to break out my dormant MAW project.

Sad to hear, I also loved "So Far From God" and enjoyed it. Thank you sir for your service and say hello to your dad!

He seems to have had a very full life. So Far from God is very well written.

Good man by all accounts. Never seemed to lean on his father's reputation like some other children of the famous.

Good historical writer also.

He was an excellent writer and historian. He did his father proud. Godspeed and Fair Winds Mr. Eisenhower. Thank you for your service. May we be worthy sir.
