Incidentally, Druzhina: I've just noticed your link where you suggest that Ian Heath's fig. 85 is based on the Isola Rizza dish. I think you're mistaken. His source for that figure is the Suljek petroglyph in Russell Robinson's "Oriental Armour", figure 31a – see link The lance-pennon shape, the quiver, and the thumbring-on-a-string are all there. |
