Yes, used alongside the red banners. Usually provided to politically connected units, or, more rarely, the presidential guards of client states. Bottom one is the Drakon-G, the first grav tank fielded by NR, using captured federal tech (which tech was itself Soriog tech, provided to the federation by the Four Nations refugees). |

Love it, but I'm really wanting to see the Four Nations and Soriog vehicles on my tabletop. |
Grimmnar | 19 Dec 2013 8:52 p.m. PST |
That is a really nice WIP of a hand you got there. Gonna be huge in 2014. Keep up the good work. :-) Grimm OK OK the tank is pretty sweet as well. Really streamlined and snazzy. I like the bottom one over the top. Will the bottoms be interchangeable or are they solid sculpts? |
khurasanminiatures | 19 Dec 2013 11:24 p.m. PST |
They will be available in two sets, with tracks or anti-grav. Each one will come with both main cannon barrels, the plasma gun (top) and the railgun (bottom). |
Garrick01 | 20 Dec 2013 6:18 a.m. PST |

grav one is amazing

khurasanminiatures | 20 Dec 2013 3:48 p.m. PST |
Thanks John. Heinz aryan, you could rig something so that the guns are swappable. Probably best to use rare earth magnets. |

"are the guns intercahngable?" "Each one will come with both main cannon barrels, the plasma gun (top) and the railgun (bottom)." so, yep – just like the letters in 'interchangeable' :-) |

Very pleased you chaps like them as much as I do. There's an APC as well, which has a smaller rail gun as its main weapon. This can either be fired rapid fire as a rail machine gun, or in slower fire as a light AT weapon. For heavier AT work there are disposable missile boxes which can optionally be added to its sides. Unfortunately the model suffered a setback when the pewter caster wasn't able to cast the base for the rail gun without crushing one of the finely detailed parts. So I've had to get it back and have sent it to the resin caster in hopes he'll be able to cast it correctly, which I think he will. (I had actually been on the fence in the first place on which caster to send it to.) Not sure how long it's going to take to get a casting of that part in resin so I can get the two APCs to dwartist for paintup. It's an awesome piece though, can't wait! It's grav or tracked, like the tank, and called the Grifon. These vehicles are known as the Mifologia series by NR designers, because they anticipated -- correctly -- that they would be seen as monsters by their federal adversaries. They are actually in some ways more advanced than mainline federal vehicles. (Of course the federation is itself engaged in development of even more advanced weaponry, the XM programme.) This is why they were named the Dragon and Griffon, respectively. |

Brilliant design! I cannot wait to see them; now all we need is the famed Goanna and Canetoad and I'll be one very happy chappy here! (That, and hey, I'm from Australia, so I'm all for any range that makes reference to us!) |
Zephyr40k | 24 Dec 2013 3:52 a.m. PST |
Very nice! I prefer the bottom one, as the barrel has more of a sci-fi look to it. but they are both excellent. Cant wait to actually see them on the store. |

khurasanminiatures | 31 Dec 2013 8:55 a.m. PST |
Sorry David, but I hardly earn anything on these as it is. If you knew how much resin kits cost to have manufactured
. The problem is, to actually make a respectable profit on this kit I'd really need to charge $25 USD+ for it, and then I could sell it to the trade. But pricing levels in 15 mil just won't support that. Fact is, the cost of each kit to me is often more than half of what I charge the customer. If I sell to the trade I've invested $1,000 USD of my own money in a model and I'll never earn it back. |

This looks fantastic, and I can't wait to see that, the Cane Toad, Goanna and Karkpanzers in the store! |
khurasanminiatures | 02 Jan 2014 6:59 a.m. PST |
The Cane Toad and Goanna/Taipan are just waiting for a redo of the pewter pieces, and the resin gun barrels. I had the pewter pieces made but didn't like the way they turned out so had them reprinted and am now waiting for the redo of the moulds. Ditto the gun barrels -- and when I had them reprinted decided to make them in resin rather than pewter as they are quite sturdy designs. I have received one set of them so far, for painting samples. Waiting on the rest. |
