Added a trailer to the set. A bit bigger then the ones you see in Fallout but trailer wise it is slim pickings. I picked this up from TMP but can't remember from whom. Missing the chimey and plastic flamingo, one fell off and the other one didn't really fit for what I have planned.

If anyone knows who made/makes these, let me know as I want a few more.

CC, I can always count on you, thx!

Cacique Caribe17 Dec 2013 7:35 a.m. PST

Gunbird,

You are most welcome!

I've cut out lots of thin styrene sheets to size, including corrugated ones. I just need to wait until I'm well enough to sit for a while* to put them together.

* I've had two back surgeries in the last few weeks. And I was already almost useless for a few months leading up to the surgeries. So I'm really itching to do something related to minis.

That is a treasure!

I am working on doing some static caravans in 2mm MDF, doing 3 or 4 sizes, admittedly a bit blocky.

Here is a quick run down of the HO (1/87th Scale) trailers I could find. These should work with 18mm or 15mm figures well.

I have 2 of these for my It Came From Beyond the Still game.

I got my pink Flamingos from an Ebay seller in Germany. They are one of the companies that break down the Safari/Toobz Good Luck Minis into smaller amounts that are more useful. I now have Elk, Bison, Gorillas, Rhinos and Okapi coming and a larger scale Grizzly Bear complete with Salmon in its mouth. Seller is figurenfundgrube .

gunbird – nice colors, the tin looks real.

CC – hope you start feeling better!

Cacique Caribe18 Dec 2013 11:46 p.m. PST

Redroom,

Thanks so much. Improving little by little, though some days almost feel like setbacks.

I hope your recovery continues well – back pain can be a real b****r.

@ Gunbird
That looks just as good as your scenery usually does!

You folks have never seen the Canadian TV series " Trailer Park Boys"?

Coelacanth22 Dec 2013 4:32 p.m. PST

This is interesting to me… One of my friends has The Hills Rise Wild and we had been kicking around a "trailer park" variant. I would be remiss if I didn't pass along vintage-trailer.tumblr.com; today's post features a bonus supermodel, but it's generally a good source of visual reference for old trailers. Thanks for this thread.

Merry Christmas!

Ron
