Read a little deeper (and God only knows why one would want to) and you'll see she was injecting herself in the genitals. Get a bad needle and an infection is bound to happen with the end result being gangrene and sepsis (regardless of what you're injecting). The implication the the drug itself is the cause is more than a little weak
And you're right; that recipe is beyond belief (but entirely plausible when you're talking about tweakers

There is quite a bit of info out there from Russia and some pretty horrific pictures if you want to excercise your google fu. I think the difference between this and some other drugs is that it has been well documented that the checmicals actually destroy tissue at the injection sites. leaving scaly grey skin once the blood supply has been cutoff. Eventually this leads to gangrene and other severe problems. However, the cheap price and the major high still has people using it. |
