Here is the first completed regiment of Jacobite Highlanders for my '45 project. Also am halfway through the Royal Ecossais. The plaid can be a tad challenging but I look forward to getting Bonnie Prince Charlie's horde on the gaming table, sometime in 2014!

They look good.

I'm currently doing the same thing three Highland units done and half way through the Eccossias and Irish. The Lowlanders and the Manchester Regiment will speed things up.

Very impressive start. If you need Highland chieftains mounted, then I would also use the British mounted cloaked officer that comes with every pack of British infantry.

Trim the hat and with some body putty or Milliput make a bonnet. The cloak looks fine painted plaid.

They're nicely detailed but suffer from the familiar curse of Old Glory in that the regulars in particular appear to be moving like some kind of avant garde modern dance troupe rather than drilled c18th soldiers……
