I'll see how I like them when they arrive. Never seen any of them in person. I ordered some Centurions and T-54s for starters (AIW). I was going to go with GHQ before I got the idea to order some of these. The price difference alone is a pretty persuasive argument! $6 USD for a GHQ platoon vs. less than $1 USD for a Pico platoon. I like the idea of putting a platoon of 3 AFVs on a base and still having some space between the vehicles. My plan is that the base size be such that it fits in a "Memoir '44" gameboard hex, which is 2.2 inches across, so my base size would be about 1.1" deep x 2" wide. I have seen people use 25mm x 25mm or 30mm x 30mm bases with 3 vehicles on them, but this looks too crowded to me. A 2" frontage may look too sparsely populated with only three models on it though. What do you guys think?

Yo!
Firstly, Picoarmor stuff is awesome.

Secondly here are some pics with basing ideas / examples:
(just put up on my blog http:..tinyminipeople.com)

They are cute! Great for games where the scale is a platoon or more for a base, and I've got a 1:1 (company per side) scale Vietnam project almost done too.

I'm sure you'll love them. PicoArmor service is great and the miniatures are fantastic! The detail is awesome for such small minis, and they are best en-masse (especially the infantry).

You're on the right track with bigger bases IMO. The platoon bases look great with multiple vehicles. I go one step further and go with 100mm frontage company bases for larger scale games.

Nandalf, that is exactly how I base my own Pico armor. Enmasse like that it looks awesome.

O8's are fantastic and deeply addictive!! The Johns at Picoarmor couldn't be nicer or better at customer service

You can always go totally nuts and mount them all individually too! Here are some examples:

Good luck with your project!

They are perfect for platoon level games like Cold War Commander & the guys at Pico are great…

I wish I had the skill to paint such small figures with such detail.
