I've also found warming the figures with a hair dryer helps too
not a problem for me now – I just leave 'em out in the sun for a bit
..but not too long!! |

Interesting, I always satin varnish first, then matt varnish. It give a thicker protecting coat to the figure. |

I posted some notes and explanation on why varnish frosts here! Its toward the bottom of the post. Worth a read. I have spoken to a local varnish manufacturer HMG paints, about the issue. The chap from their lab helped fill me in on the issues with moisture and temperature. link |
