Hello All,
After enjoyable experiences using the Fife & Drum AWI rules by Der Alte Fritz, I decided to adapt them for some simple Napoleonics games. Heresy and nonsense, I know, but I liked the results and thought to share them.
These rules are best suited for the more laid back types who just want an easy, unintimidating game with about a division per side.
Thanks for having a look.
Cheers,
Mick

Quite possibly the nicest Napoleonic wargames figures I have seen. Amazing collection and nicely presented table. Rob.

In the Mid-German Semi-finals, the Westphalian team leads the Bavarian team 2-0. Stay tuned for a thrilling third match-up in this five game series.

Games looked marvalous. +3 for a rules link.

Happy Little Trees06 Dec 2013 12:45 p.m. PST

I could do that!

All I need is Time, Money and Talent.

So, win the lottery and hire Bandolier it is then…

vtsaogames06 Dec 2013 1:32 p.m. PST

Another vote for a rules link. Great looking game.

Sparker06 Dec 2013 3:15 p.m. PST

A spectacular game! Please could you send me a copy of your rules too?

Cheers Mick!

Inspiring stuff! I'd like to see the rules too.

Bandolier07 Dec 2013 3:12 a.m. PST

Thanks to you all for your kind comments. Much appreciated!

If you want a copy of the rules please PM your email address or leave it here as Sparker did. I can't work out how to post it online…

Be advised the rules are quite simple and treat troops fairly generically. They deliberately avoid going too deep into the detail so don't expect much chrome and not every possibility is covered. There is no factor stacking, simply choose the most relevant chart options and go from there. I feel I should also remind people that these are adapted from DAF's original rules.

Fantastic looking figures and terrain.
Love to get a copy of the rules.
Have you considered posting them on the blog to save emailing them out to people?

Joes Shop Supporting Member of TMP08 Dec 2013 5:55 a.m. PST

Great looking game, very impressive!

Bandolier08 Dec 2013 4:04 p.m. PST

I'm pretty sure that all requests have been answered. Thanks.

@Maxshadow – yeah it would be easier to put them on the blog but I haven't worked it out yet and there are probably one or two things to tidy up.

Mick,

Absolutely a beautiful table full of beautiful figures and terrain. My own attempts at a recreation of Napoleonic combat on the tabletop are much more humble.

I would love to take a look at your rules, if you don't mind. My e-mail address is:

bigjackmac (at) hotmail (dot) com

Thanks in advance, and I look forward to seeing more of your battle reports.

V/R,
Jack

Hello, Mick.
Obviously, you've made quite a stir with your report and the idea of simple rules. Well done and congrats on your success. The collections and table are lovely. I to would love to receive a copy of your rules if it is not too much trouble.
Much appreciated.
