Fabulously "pic rich" indeed.

But I am somewhat aghast: do you really poke holes in your terrain to hold your airplane altitude poles up???

Yes, the boards are made from expanded styrofoam and the poles are sharpened in one end. The foam somewhat closes itself again when you remove the pole. All the boards are from 1994 and have sustained literally a hundred games. They have been refurbished once with a bit of white glue where the density of holes was highest , some new paint and flocking. I think they are good to go again for a long period.

Wow, I am impressed. That is the most visually cool WW1 air combat game setup I have ever seen, in pics anyway….

Less can also do the trick. Here is a German project on the way:

Some effective but quick and dirty boards:

Some nice paintwork – Hats off for their 1/350 scale hand painted lozenges.

You, are all madmen. I did lozenge a couple of times back when I was playing Dogfight, on a pair of balsawood Albatri I had made. And anyone, ANYONE, who does that more than once is nuts. That was when I had good eyes too….
