We played a Kings of War campaign at the Group North Historical Wargaming Society today. We managed to get seven players which isn't bad for a game that hasn't gained much traction locally over the last year. Some photos are uploaded at link A few rules corrections were made by everyone which is one of the benefits of getting different players together – you find the one rule you learnt wrong and everyone else accepts as fact. I'll definitely be running one of these competitions again next year. Hopefully more people have based and painted there miniatures by then (the ones in colour are mine, so I don't have to much more to do). |

Nice one mate. I have a base army for Undead and Dwarves. Played one game and quite enjoyed it. |

It is a fast game. We played 1000 point armies and had three rounds in under 4 hours, complete with campaign add ons. Not removing miniatures actually speeds the game up a lot. The limited amount of customisation on units also means you focus more on the movement and distances to attack rather than who has what magic item or how someone reacts in this special situation. |
