After my mishap a while ago TMP link I have tried a few different ways of removing the paint (or at least the grains of the structure paint I mistakenly used). After trying turpentine (no effect) and the local equivalent to simple green, såpa (partially worked) the next step was something stronger.

I read a recommendation for "Fairy powerspray", and while that is not available in sweden, apparently "Yes power spray" is the same stuff and I am glad to report it worked perfectly. I simply left the models to soak overnight and scrubbed lightly with a toothbrush. The paint came right off. The metal parts are left without a trace of paint. The resin parts still have some traces but all the grains from the structure paint are gone.
