Event Registration is open…just go to hmgsmidwest.com
to submit your games. If you have been a past judge and wish to avoid me calling you (if I have your phone number) then get your games in soon. Saturday time slots go fast, we are looking to build the Friday & Sunday schedule. Updated Hotel Information has been posted to the site as well. There will be several FOW Tournaments being run.
-Fate of Nations (Arab/Israeli)
-WWII
-Vietnam
-WWII Juniors
Prize support has been coordinated for all of them. Two players, one from the Fate of Nations, one from the Vietnam tournament will receive custom made terrain boards (free). |

Those that pre-register can pick up their registration packets Thursday night. A good way to avoid standing in line. |

Last year I had to pay full entrance fee despite being an HMGS member. I was told to produce my membership card. I informed them that I didn't have a membership card and that HMGS did not send one out for years. I did have my HMGS membership number. That was not good enough and I paid full non-member amount. Is there anyway this will be rectified for 2014? |

Little Wars is usually the point where the membership cycles for the new year anyway so I usually reup at that point and get the cheaper price (nets out a little cheaper than the non-member) |

We could ask HMGS for their membership list and look up your membership (we have asked for the list and in my memory has not been provided)
They could start providing membership cards.
You could become a member of HMGS-Midwest and get a membership card from us and the discount. guess which option will provide the best odds of success. |

You could become a member of HMGS-Midwest and get a membership card from us and the discount. Doesn't seem to be an issue with the HMGS-GL events. I choose to join the HMGS as I go to all three of their conventions and have a vested interest in their continual success. |
