Hi,
One of the kids I play with has chosen to drop his necromancer and go with a wizard. What's he's described to me is the classical image of an older guy with a long white beard, robes and a pointed conical hat. Kind of magestic. I've been looking for such a thing but having a bit of whiff finding it in a form that's not old and 'collectible'… 28mm and metal… not a lot of bling on him (so we can paint stars and moons on his robes). Thanks for any suggestions,

Pity it's 28mm the old Citadel FA-2 would have been perfect.
Spotted 1 for sale on Ebay UK auction Seems quite reasonable compared to some of the crazy prices being asked. Though when I think I bought 1 for 20p or 25p 30 odd years ago it's all crazy. Or maybe this one. auction |

That Otherworld mini is GREAT*. I'd need to find some brush-on chrome for the skullcap:

Actually, I should have been clearer about the hat… it's NOT the Gandalf hat. It has no brim… it's a cone, like a tall dunce cap.

The only one close I see in Reaper's range is Darius the Blue, Wizard… but hmmm… not quite what I'm hoping for. Thanks for the suggestions though. |

I really like the one Snurl suggested but have no clue what line he's from… Grenadier maybe?
That Otherworld one is quite nice too… maybe not for this purpose but I'd like him for myself. Thanks again!
