The clear horizon hell divers would probably work. The heads are pretty close anyway. |

Well, yes

Didnt see the movie, bug I like those -- they are obviously not human, but have enough of a human shape that gamers can feel for them a bit. I've been casting around looking for droids to "man" the Federal Advanced Grav Droid Carrier, and these may very well help inspire the design. I went through several designs of droids/drones but none had the feel of an infantry force. |

How about the robots from Elysium?

The GZG figs remind me of the ones from Elysium, while I think MrHarold's figs are better for Total Recall. |

I would think Rebel's Shalur most easily capture the effect of the OP. link |

K, I like the Total Recall bots, as well as the Elysium bots. But I'd want bigger bots. There was one recent short film that I can't remember now, it had BIG combat bots, I believe fighting some kind of insurgency, IIRC. Or at least what we thought were combat bots (I suspect that they were human brains or at least a copy of a human brain in a mecha), but they were an easy 8-9 feet tall, carrying a heavy machinegun or autoGL the way troops today carry an M4. The bot SAT head and shoulders taller than the human interviewing it after an incident. I don't think those bots had a firearm in the 'head' like some of the recent designs I've seen, but that isn't a bad idea. |
