Was this used on all fronts? Also does anyone have any good methods to paint it. Thanks |

From the Artizan website.
Telo Mimetico is the Italian name for the pattern. A quick Google should give you answers to your questions. |

I've got a book with an illustration of a 12th SS person wearing it in Normandy but I've never seen it anywhere else. |

12th SS and 1st SS wore a lot of it. Anyone in italy in theory would have access to it. |

Further to the previous answers. The M29 Telo Mimetico (camouflage cloth) was the longest used military camouflage pattern in the world from 1929 until 1992. There were at least three quite different patterns used by the Italians (and Germans) during WWII. These are the paints I've used on my figures: Russian Uniform WWII V924 – M1929 Camouflage cloth (tent/poncho)Base colour A Dark Flesh Citadel – M1929 Camouflage cloth Highlight B Buff Leather 7B Foundry - M1929 Camouflage cloth Highlight C Regards, Matt |

I've seen pictures of both Heer & SS using the Italian camo. Somewhere around here I have a picture of a panzer officer from the 116th Pz Div. wearing a panzer wrap around uniform made from the Italian camo. |
