I've been working on a semi-modern small town type set of terrain for a project I'm working on. The one thing I keep looking for is one of the big water towers with the raised globe on a pillar that tend to have the town name on it or just look interesting. Something like this
I keep finding ones that don't fit the look and are more of the railway ones used for reloading reservoirs on engines, or rooftop ones with a few old wood looking ones. Neither of those kind of fit the small town look. |

Take one of these link and invert it, use some McWendyKing straws for the "legs" with coffee straws for the crossbeams.

Hell some cities use towers that look just like this flask inverted:
base it on a CD, put a "control shack" on the base, and surround the thing in fence made from screen-door screen. Bam, done |

Well done BigNick I was going to suggest inverting a flask. Frank

Notices a Lionel one that looked about right (though I'd have to repaint part of it to remove the logo). |
