Just ran across this, looks interesting but cant get much information.

I was wondering if anyone here has picked any of these up and what they thought about them, concerning size and adaptability to gaming?

Highly adaptable to 15mm or 20mm (1/72) scale wargaming. Check your local Tuesday Morning or Marshalls/T.J. Maxx stores, as the series as been showing up there for some time now.

Hope this helps!evil grin

I have some of these. They're not bad, but I REALLY wish they'd do just a figure pack, with a couple Spartans, bunch of Marines and Covenant forces. I picked them up for wargaming purposes in the HALO setting…

There was some discussion a while back about them. I picked up some of the stuff in the line I think most of it is too large for 15mm. Most of mine went into the parts box.

I did this with mine:

Too bad they're not making more

The vehicles are really good for 15mm (Except the Warthog, IMO) but the infantry are far too large. The Human VTOL is by far the best piece of the lot and a must-have for your 15mm force. I have several.

Here's one I still have on my workbench. Primer coated now, but still needs paint. GZG plasma cannon is on a magnetic mount.

In Australia the Falcon is available in The Reject Shop for about $6 USD bucks.
I was contemplating using them as an unmanned drone gunship type thingy for 28mm sci fi but after seeing the above posts I might save them for something in 15mm

cheers Tom

The buildings work well with GZG 25mm. Thats what I bought them for. The vehicles are undersized and probably closer to 20 – 22mm scale. The buggy that came with the building, I probably will get little value from. Some of the above vehicle pictures I can see going multi-scale (15 – 25mm).

thabear, any in Sydney you know of?

BlackWidowPilot Fezian14 Nov 2013 3:15 p.m. PST

The Warthog is indeed too large for 15mm, but it is spot-on for 1/72/20mm scale figures: I have a trio set aside with seated Starguard troopers already set up to crew them (plus extra onboard firepower).

@ McWong sorry i'm in Melbourne , do you have The Reject Shop up there ?
Actually a Mate of mine picked his up for $12 USD at the Reject Shop whereas I got mine for $6 USD , so either I got a bargain or he got ripped off so please check the price before purchase if you see them .
I think I also saw the HALO purple alien looking vehicle thing on the same shelf .

cheers Tom

I have had pictures of them on my blog for some time, they work well with 1/72nd scale plastic figures. The figures they come with are much larger than 15mm.

I have 3 Falcons. The rotors hit the fuselage when rotated for horizontal flight. Other that that, great models.

The drop pod box came with two pods, one trooper I think.

I have it and a chopper, seems decent fit.

Have 12 or so of the 28mm and the damaged warthog that I need to trade off as well.

But yeah a boxed set of 25 figs would be great.

The sellers never seem to think about sales to us though.

McWong7315 Nov 2013 4:45 p.m. PST

Just found them in the Reject Shop in Australia, $12 USD for the vehicles. I've cleared out North Rocks outlet in Sydney, about to hit Castle Hill and maybe Hornsby.
