some basic information about my new game based on the Song of Blades engine -- published by Osprey Publishing in the Osprey Wargame Series and available in February. And you can see the great figures that North Star is doing for the game.

This game looks aweswome. Only drawback I can see is terrain: just wont feel the same if most games are taking place out in the woods or countryside and I don't know of any affordable modern Asian city terrain. I've seen some paper stuff but it's a pain to assemble and really fragile. I guess you could use Infinity terrain?

Good to see details of the pre order up. Wonder where to get a Pork Chop Express in 28mm now.

Ooh, those rules should also appeal to folks who have just backed Impact Miniatures' Chibi Asian Adventurers KS, and gun-toters and demons coming in the near future with Chibi Chthulu!

I've got this book on pre-order.

Already digging up my old China Town, and Hasslefree Martial Arts minis.

Looks like a complete mess to me ( just like a Jackie Chan movie). Any combat system that lets me use a fish as a weapon is a must- have for me!evil grin

When fish are outlawed, only outlaws will have fish.

I'm sure you can concel carry a small enough fish. Of course if it's too big you'll have to keep in your pickup trucks fish rack.

This is awesome. I had a dream last night about a martial arts game based on kung fi theatre or the old streets of rage type games. I decided it was a good idea and here it is today!
I am very excited!!!

CmdrKiley: want to bet there's a run on hasslefree martial artists when these rules come out? Glad I picked mine up already.

I play with two guys with a pretty heavy kung fu background. I'm betting they're gonna love this game.

Will work for my Feng Shui RPG-to-minis project, glad there are gonna be some more figs too!

If I get to use this as a weapons system, then I will be playing this game on a daily basis:
