For November I am trying to replay the battle of Heraclea with 5 sets of rules (I have already done about 12 over the last 2 years). Ancients D6 is ruleset number 2, so I am on track to do 5 in 30 days. I am testing out the rules for fast play on a 2'x2' table. Ancients D6 is designed for 2'x2' so works there! Game was longer than usual but that was because I had a lot more units on the board than for a standard game. It was fun. The report is in lots of detail so that rule mechanisms in action can be seen and you will know if the rules are for you. Battle report on the blog: link Obligatory teaser picture: The Agema and elephant contacts the left flank roman heavy cavalry. In this replay, the Triarii have manged to reached the flank in time to lend the cavalry a hand.
