"Doug Drexler has posted a gallery on Facebook, full of artwork from the development of the new Deep Space 9, made for it's debut on covers in The Fall novel series this year. Doug has posted concept art from Andy Probert, who created the design based on David R. George III's description from the novels. There are also lots of renderings from Douglas Graves, who built the computer model, and alternate cover designs from Mr Drexler himself…"

Uh… what happened to the old one? Granted, I don't tend to read Trek novels, so maybe something happened in the "novelverse" that I don't know about. In any case, this looks… bad. Okay, horrid. But again, I don't read the books, so perhaps Trek book readers will be intrigued. |

No this is specifically for the novel series set after the show. The old DS9 was destroyed, and then subsequently rebuilt into the design above. BTW, I picked up the first novel in this series, and has utterly failed to grab me at all. Doubtful if I'll finish it, or continue with this series… Damon. |
