I've posted a bunch of photos from this past Saturday's HMGS-Great Lakes convention at Fort Meigs, Ohio. This is a very special convention because the focus is on introducing young gamers to the hobby.

Thanks for posting those. Often your photos are the only ones I get see of my games since I seldom get around to taking any! It was a great event this year as usual with a lot of good looking, fun games. Had a great bunch of enthusiastic kids, and a couple adults, playing my Star Wars game.

We had at great day at the fort. Attendance was 102 paid adults which doesn't count the kids that get in for free. The events were terrific with Star Wars, bootleggers, zombies and robots drawing the kids to the game tables. We had a few historical battles as well that also had a fare share of younger players. I think extending the hours to 9pm this year helped to relieve the stress of having to be out by 5pm. Hopefully next year will show another increase in attendance.

Corporal Pat, your game made my son Jim happier than a pig in mud.

Glad to be of service MW. If I make one kid happy it's worth it.

Many thanks to Kaiju Doug and the Colby Street gang for putting on another great event in a great venue. Plus the proceeds help Fort Miegs.
