These are awesome. Where do you get them? Davco were part of Skytrex, but I believe the range has been sold on to another manufacturer. Sorry, don't know who. |

Could you provide a bit more detail on this? "I also figured out a new way to make the ratlines much easier using a bristle from an old wire brush for the cut side of the mesh, instead of a piece of black thread. It's much less messy and easier to attach." Oh, meant to say beautiful work as always |

dragon6, If you look at Workbench article TMP link about halfway through, you will see how I usually make my ratlines. Instead of gluing the black thread to the open cut side of the mesh, I glued the stiff wire bristle. It is less fiddly and messy (no glue on fingers), and makes the finished ratline rigid making it easier to install on the ship. Oh and by the way dragon6, I took my mesh stock number to Hancocks last week to get some more and guess what! They have replaced the product with something completely different, but with the same stock number! I tried Joann's Fabrics with no luck either. The next time I find the right size mesh I'm going to buy 20 yards of the stuff! Thanks for the nice comments guys. Regards, Vol |

Nice work there, Vol. Interesting innovation with the ratlines too. Finally made it over to TMP. What's next on your bench? |
