Those are your own concoctions then? They look quite nice. What scale and will you being posting them for DL (for money or otherwise?)

Yes, my own. They are 10cm which means scalewise 40metres is 10cm or 1/400. The files need cleaning up and after vectorising I will sell them and suitable rules. But I will make the files detailed enough for printing up to 25mm scale.

Looking forward to it. I've built a few of Hotz ships. They are pretty easy to build but a bit involved.

They look very impressive. So could you do a decent battle on a dining table?

Plasticviking301 Nov 2013 9:38 a.m. PST

Hope so…. Salamis needs about 4 by 4 metres….for the core of the action. A 6 by 4 should allow 30 to 50 a side.

4x4 meters? How does one reach 80% of the table?

A "cheat" stick 2M long!

I wish they'd been done in 1/300, as they'd be nice variety amongst the Roman Seas ships (and I've got lots of 6mm figs already). I suppose I could scale them, though, if the layout is amenable to it (scaling down is always easier).

Just print in 1/300, Doug. Im just working on putting enough detail in so they look good at larger scales. I actually use printed figures which are c.8mm high with them (because smaller figures have no discernible detail to me).

If they're laid out on the pages to make that feasible, then that would be way cool.

I'm impressed. How many ships per A4 sheet?

Plasticviking328 Nov 2013 5:44 p.m. PST

Some new models on the table.Olympias and Corinthian. Range is building up. (I hope my eyes hold out)

WildAss – 3 ships per a4 card sheet at 10cm scale.
