Well, with only a little "tortilla de maiz" as food… (smile).

A skinny jean hipster way before his time.

I purchased four sets of these figures and they're great. Terrific sculpts with beautiful detail and animation. As nice and unique as the poses are of the Texans the Mexican figs are even better. I can't wait for TSSD's next release of Alamo/Texas War for Independence figures. By-the-by, TSSD's Alamo buildings are absolutely beautiful. Like many others, I was disappointed when it became clear that Conte wasn't going to complete its 54mm Alamo series. But over the past couple years Nick and DeAnna at TSSD have produced magnificent buildings for the West wall, all of the North wall, and most recently the East wall. They mate perfectly well with the Conte buildings.

They have a beautiful home and some times have a open house, the garage is a miniatures shop and his large scale dioramas are set up on display around the home. They are some of the most gracious people the wife and I have ever met. If your ever in southern california in the month of March head out to the Marriot Hotel in Irvine, California to chat with them at the West Coaster annual Toy Soldier Show.

I'd like to echo Painter Jim's comments: DeAnna and Nick are two of the nicest people you will ever meet.
