Every post I made this morning (0730-0800, EST) received the following after hitting submit: /mivacommon/boards/topics.mv: Line 572: MvLOCKFILE: Runtime Error: Error creating lockfile 'boards/topics.dbf.lck': Timed out waiting for lock Had to go back and hit Submit again and at that point the post would go through. I was getting this but the post posted correctly. No need to refresh. As Security Minister Critter observes – it is a portent of things to come……….
But on the positive side – it's helped me discover a board I didn't know existed…. |

Lockfile errors usually mean the server is momentarily overloaded (too many people posting messages simultaneously). Problem should go away in TMP 4.0. |
