Spotted this, when I was looking at some winterwar pieces. Now seen a few different kick starters in recent times for similar things, but this looks rather well designed and scales and built. Not seen anyone doing the magnet thing yet. So that is a first for me. link I am very much considering breaking my kick starter duck and having a punt on this. I have images of a Starship Troopers base, and bugs crawling all over. It would also be rather handy for some good old Necromunda games and more. |

Makes a great oil rig, too. I have visions of Metal Gear Solid: Sons of Liberty. |

This is great, although very expensive. |

Yes, awfully nice, but awfully expensive. :( |

Looks really good but pricey, maybe should have opened for smaller packs and more backers? A small oil rig and dock cranes and gantries etc would be cool

I think the price is good for what you get. Even the full monty at five hundred quid. It looks fabulous. However, a) I could never bring myself to put together that much MDF, I suspect, let along paint it b) I'm not sure where I would store it – it looks as robust as any MDF but that's an awful lot of sticky out bits of thin wood to carefully store
somewhere c) As only a few days left and only half way there, kickstarter wise, I suspect these points might be moot. Sadly. I hope they suceed, I really do. John T |

I agree
as John knows
I'm a great MDF scenery fan
and this looks fantastic
but it's just too expensive compared to what else is out there at the moment. The magnet idea is great
but you could great a whole heap of MDF terrain from other companies in the UK for the cost of this. I would had been all over this if the prices had been better. Shame
.I don't reckon it will make it's start up at this rate. |

Shame
.I don't reckon it will make it's start up at this rate Sadly, I think you're right. I still don't think it is too expensive for what you get, but it is more than I'd be prepared to pay, I will confess. John T |

I can why they are on expensive side, either brought/buying higher power laser (150w or higher) & design involves a lot of cutting. The 3mm material costs are very low. regards MMG |

Shame it didn't make the funding level. Looked great stuff to me. |
