With six days to go. I have to admit up front to being an early backer, but even in the European union, the deal if you think you need miniatures for fantasy role playing, seems to be very good. It's worth checking it out. Bones are a kind of slightly soft plastic, but take paint better than I expected. I am happy with some of the huge dragons I got with the first kickstarter, and I am still painting some for fun. |

I joined up on Wave 5 but this time around the stretch goals are more focused on expansions than on the core investment set. A little disappointing, however it's still a good price. |

I'm not a huge fan of the material but its workable and the price is fantastic. Kudos for Reaper from dropping the price escalation of miniatures. The kickstarters are done very well as well and are a fun and very rewarding experience. |

I supported wave 4. Really interested in the dragons and mouslings. |

Yeah, the $50 USD "expansions" haven't really been a big motivator for me, so I've been sitting this one out. Glad it's still very successful for them, though. |

Me neither. I could spend $400 USD+ dollars and get the price down to very low per figure but now my thinking is more along the lines of "do I need/want to spend $400 USD" with the answer looking more and more like "no". |

I'm not in KS but I'm hoping for 4 or 5 millions!!! More bones available through the general sale is always good! |

Retailers who carry their metal lines are f'ed! |
Mardaddy | 20 Oct 2013 11:23 p.m. PST |
IGWARG1 – I would not say that. I've bought bunches of Bones from my LGS, especially the monsters and NPC-types; but nothing beats the detail in metal for the RPG PC's. For those like who look for the detail, and so long as Reaper doesn't go nutz with pricing for singles, there will still be a market with me. |

I was wanting a moderns/chronoscope only option. I have all the fantasy I could POSSIBLY want at this point. Until I see an option for just that I'm sitting these BONES kickstarters out |
richarDISNEY | 21 Oct 2013 8:14 a.m. PST |
I into the $100 USD, and was also hoping for more Chronoscope and Savage Worlds/western figs
Maybe Bones III?

I will happily purchase most of the sci-fi/pulp/western minis once they hit the shelves. Ditto what RogZombie said. |

Thank you Bill :) They really hooked me when they put up the Lovecraftian horror! |
Gokiburi | 21 Oct 2013 11:53 p.m. PST |
They got me as well: I'm now in for the aforementioned lovecrafian horror, and both paint sets (they're a great deal if you happen to like reaper's paints). There's a few other's that I want, but most of them are mixed in with things I neither want nor need (I'm not a fan of the expanision structure). |

I broke down and jumped in for a few of the $10 USD options that will work well in chibi dungeons. Dungeon Décor 2, and the translucent Gelatinous Cube and Water Elemental sets. Pity the translucent tentacles are bundled in with lots of stuff I don't want. |

I'm in again, though I'm not sure about idea with expansions
.when you don't really know, why do you have to increase your pledge or take part
I think having clear rewards specified fpr certain sum achieved could work better. Last day might be interesting

Still on the fence for this because tbh, it's a cluster of sort-of-options that may have been thorougly thought out, but won't really come together unless they reach over $3 USDM in funding. Specifically, the stuff I'm really interested in is spread out across the core set (which looks okay), the three expansions (which are otherwise meh) and paid add-ons (which is presumably what they should've gone with instead of the expansion bundles). Odds on getting just the items I like at retail will be FAR cheaper than backing, and odds on others feeling the same way is a big part of the reason why they look to fall about a million dollars short of the first campaign's take. |

They're also probably going to get less as almost every who pledged for the first bones kickstarter is staring at the 200 odd figures in the corner that are unused and unpainted still! |
Rogzombie | 24 Oct 2013 10:51 p.m. PST |
Reaper has just tonight posted 2 barbarians sculpted by Kev White! What a great collaboration. Unfortunately there is a bare boob involved and it has taken off on the comments section. Anyway there are many really cool things on here. Lots of big hunky miniatures(If you can call them that)! |
Freak from Vienna | 25 Oct 2013 8:25 a.m. PST |
They're also probably going to get less as almost every Bleeped text who pledged for the first bones kickstarter is staring at the 200 odd figures in the corner that are unused and unpainted still! Yeah right. Like a plastic pile will make the true miniatures lover pause to think any more than a lead one will. As for the bare boob
oh brother. Don't people realize they were getting bare boobs already? A dryad and two kelpies off the top of my head, would have to check for more. |
