Some shots of the recently completed 3rd Battalion of the Pskov Infantry Regiment, part of my long-running 7th Infantry Division 1812 project. The figures are 28mm Wargames Foundry, sculpted by Alan Perry, bases by Litko, finials from Victrix, and the flags from GMB. Apologies for the shaky pics. Comments and queries welcomed.

Those look great. The Russian Green of the figures' uniforms is very well done. |

Terrific stuff, Bryce, as always. Also, to my mind the basing has a very "Eastern European" look to it. Giles |

Good to see someone using a proper green for Russians, too often the shade verges on grass rather than the correct "almost black". Very nice unit. |

Fantastic. I like the way you described the manufacturers that you used to assemble the unit. Please add an addendum and list the paints as well. Thank you! |

Condotta, there is not room in a post to list the 70+ paint layers used on the unit above, however I did post a 'walk-through' on another Forum, for a great-coated battalion, that may be of some use: link . |

Nice painting but I prefer a slightly lighter green. The Russian green should not be "almost black". Especially in poorly lit gaming rooms colours generally need to be a bit lighter than historical (even considering that the dyes would change and fade over time.) |
