I find it sad that people are arguing now on TMP. I have removed the picture that I posted TMP link because I realize now that it was provocative, which was not my intention. I hope that any gamers who were offended can forgive me.

Very gracious of you, but don't let it bother you. Some people here overreact to everything.

Not to worry, there are an awful lot of fuddie-duddies around these parts.

I figured TMP members where a higher caliber of forum member but I guess the vast majority of them just have a lack of experience with women and don't know how to act.

I've never been offended by provocative pictures……!

hamburger ads are more provocative.
perhaps in this setting IE gaming forum, just unnecessary.

Don't worry about it, Julia. Arguing about which nits ought to be picked is our second hobby.

Mardaddy19 Oct 2013 10:21 a.m. PST

Julia – you are going to find there is a whole facet of the population in every corner of the world who go out of their way looking for things to be offended by, just so they can get a shot of self-worth from flexing power they don't *really* have. Even here on TMP.

Bullies come in all stripes.

OK, and understood. We've all done it. I was once warned off from wearing Speedos in the USA. It was my daughter who complained and I thought she was behaving very anti-European. I blame her parents.

Do you have an opinion on whether the Stifle Table is a good thing or not?

Don't sweat it.

I thought you said you'd given up playing the piano Soldat?

I didn't find it offensive, Julia, but it did seem a bit inappropriate for the situation: You're an employee of the site, with authority and responsibilities.

I once heard a judge say:
There are people in this world out searching for a chance to be offended.

Could be the motto of the internet

I thought you said you'd given up playing the piano Soldat?

Only on special occasions, and I never forget my neckwear!
