Hi

As firm believers that wargames and wargame shows should be about playing games rather than just painting hundreds of figures and then having people stare at them from a distance, Staines Wargamers would like to invite anyone attending Warfare on Saturday 16th November to come and play our double award winning game "Dixie !" on table 4a.

This 20 min game is our recreation of the charge by General Garnetts brigade on the 3rd day at Gettysburg.

Playable by gamers of all ages from 6 to 86, it also lends itself to father-son-brother-sister-mum play. Nothing quite as much fun as watching mum get into the spirit of the game and doing the dirty on her beloved offspring ….

Traders and competition players are also welcome, and it provides an interesting diversion from what is usually a hectic day.

Hope to see you there !

So I take it, this is not the SPI boardgame about ACW2! LOL!
Nor the card game that was played in the 1990s with some still around.

Not familiar with the system. More info would be interesting. Thanks
