Greets all. I am making some Mighty Armies armies at the moment and the idea of 15mm realm of chaos came to mind. Both of the roc books are online (no copyright) so there's no trouble in finding the rules. There are lots of different 15mm fantasy models at the moment too. Has anyone tried warhammer based games in 15mm?

No copyright? On a GW property? That's some wishful thinking and/or rationalizing there.

Hey, if someone's put it on the internet there can't be any copyright on it!

Not sure about Warhammer a s you would need to have a lot of individually based figures and if you are going 15mm you will want BIG armies.

I use Hail Caesar Fantasy, a free fan made suppliment on the Yahoo Group or some guys at my club want to try Kings of War.

I do base my figures on big bases though, 80mm frontage for a standard unit.

Realms of Chaos is a good army style…..some nice figures to be used and you can use WH Nurglings as they fit right in size wise.

Rofl guess I shouldn't have mentioned the copy right in the post. My mistake. Pretty certain they don't have full ownership or something for those 2 books. Thread was more about 15mm realm of chaos…

The only thing I am thinking about are the larger base monsters. A 15mm scale minotaur is about the size of a 28mm model, so basing it on a 40x40mm base might look odd. Maybe a few per base will do.

@ BunJen Yeah, right now I am using Mighty Armies. The RoC campaigns have smaller warband-sized armies. I'll try basing the warbands individually first and see how that goes. Pics to follow soon
