Hi all,

Just posted on Minairons Miniatures blog some finished renderings of our projected 1:56th M1 Armored Car, as well as a draft of the decals sheet it's going to include.

The matter is that such decals sheet is likely to have some room left for supplementary markings, besides those considered as purely historical.

I've taken advantage of it for asking eventual readers how would they fill these empty spaces --provided such availability is confirmed. Fictional, What-if or what markings? If so, which ones?

If wishing to know more, please click here.

Thanks for reading,
Lluís

Just my take but I like the look of the vehicle and the decal sheet you have. Not really a fan of fictional markings.

Isn't that just a Soviet BA-10 with a different turret?

Rightfully, it might be considered as a predecessor to a whole family of armoured cars, for it dates back to 1930 or 1931.

About BA-10, that Soviet AFV was developed since 1938, not earlier. It is the penultimate improved design in a whole series started with the BA-I (1931) and continued with BA-3 (1933) and BA-6 (1936).

Looks interesting instead of the BA-6 naval gun turret it had a spaceship gun turret – cool!

The solid handle on the hood is a little much, I'd rather duplicate it with a piece of bent wire.

True.

However, it won't be any of a problem for skilled users --either replacing it, or just drilling it.

But not so skilled ones might have missed the handle, if I decided not to include it --and I had no other chance than making it solid.

So, I thought this was a suitable solution to all kinds of hobbyists.

Glad to see more in this scale I have your Hispano-Suiza and it is the best resin casting I've seen – I will be happy with the purely historical decals and will certainly buy this when released.

Lluis,

I was searching for something else, and was reminded of this inter-war beauty:

And another possible candidate for your consideration:

The ADGZ has the added advantage of having been put into production (briefly) and used operationally by the Waffen SS during WW2…
