Got a model that's put together with superglue, that you've just realized is wrong? I did. Here's the solution: Drop the model into the coldest part of the freezer. Wait a week. Remove the model from the freezer and immediately pull the pieces apart. Ignore the freezer burn on your finger tips. |

A bit of Nail Polish remover applied to where a glue is should do it as well. Wait a few minutes before pulling the pieces apart. Can't guarantee it will work on all super glue, not a chemist :-) |

I picked up a resin piece I'd used cheap super glue on
still unpainted after a year but needed to take a pic. All the parts fell off as soon as I touched them. |

You don't have to freeze it for that long. 30-60 minutes is sufficient. |

You can also use debonder spray for superglue. Works a treat wait 20 seconds after spraying, never failed me yet. In fact every modeller should have a debonder in their tool box or first aid kit. Very helpful when accidentaly glue your fingers together. Saves on pain or embarassing explanations at the ER. |
