A while ago, I came across a website for a company that offered both painted and unpainted ACW units and I think armies. They had their own line of minis and offered deals and discounts for ordering their minis painted. They also sold and painted other brands, but at a higher price point. I believe they are in the UK, and they are not Essex. Can anyone help jog my feeble memory, or was I dreaming?

Are you sure about the scale? The service sure sounds like Lancashire Games, but they're 15mm.

Ah-ha! Yes, I believe that's the one. Not sure why I was thinking 6-10mm, but like I said, "my feeble memory." Thanks for your quick reply, Dom. Now to look up some reviews of their painting service…

Could it be Rapier ? They do a 6mm ACW line.

I believe he is thinking of the 10mm ACW line that was posted on TMP awhile back. Can't recall the name right now.

Gordon & Hague did the 10mm prepaints, but the line was discontinued in favour of 15mm, and they've never offered a painting service for other firms' stuff, so I don't think they fit the bill.

Bill Moreno from Miami has a growing range of 10mm ACW. I took them to Historicon and they sold very well.

Good Ground is the name of his mounting base range.

If it's not Lancashire Games, The Baggage Train offers unpainted and painted brigade packs from the ACW Ten High product line, which are 10mm. His website indicates he's a bit backlogged at the moment.

I took a look at Bill's website: Cracker Line Miniatures. Nice looking minis. Thank you all, gentlemen.

Thanks 'OohRah'. The BaggageTrain's 10 High stuff also looks decent. I didn't see anything about painted brigade packs. though. Perhaps it's by request only.
