A fine scenario it is too! Well presented and easy to follow.

Alexandria was quite an odd battle in some ways and foreshadowed future dynamics in others.

A fair point about which I was unaware. I just paid $25.00 USD

Bob: Yes! Strategically, obviously the French should never have come down from the high ground but the in-fighting among the generals caused the unnecessary aggression. Much like the quarrels among the peninsular marshals. Tactically, even in the absence of capable light troops, the British bested the French.

I had the opportunity to play-test this scenario with the author. It was quite challenging and unique to my experience in Napoleonics – never mind that I smote him hip and thigh (that was icing on the cake). To my way of thinking, well worth the few bucks.
