Hi Lads….the Mad Max crew will be at the Leeds Fiasco wargames convention that will be held on the Sunday 27th October 2013 at New Dock Hall which is part of the Royal Armouries complex.

Come and have a look at probably the best participation game thats ever been at the shows!(ok its good to blow your own trumpet:)!)

boggler07 Oct 2013 7:18 a.m. PST

Cool.

What scale is that? 54mm?

clarkeshire07 Oct 2013 7:31 a.m. PST

Hi Boggler….yes the scales 54mm…all the models have been Kit bashed and made by the Humoungous Andy Ritson….

Goat

ps all the models were built around 15 years ago….hopefully Andy might have a few new vehicles on the table:)

In the interest of fairness, I must point out that other games* are available for you enjoyment….

I had thought of putting them in the concourse, but decided that as there is a large expanse of window, they might scare away the public :)

* Kings of War, X-Wing, Bosworth, Paean, Stalagbite, Two days from D-Day, Sidi Rezegh, Hordes, Rate of fire, Bolt Action, Dragon boat, Fantacide, Attack on the Death Star, Gordons Alive!, Wings of Glory. Desert Raid…..

:)…I must admit we are not the prettiest bunch:)

Looking forward to a great show at a very good location:)

Worth a trip to the show just to see this game

freewargamesrules07 Oct 2013 6:15 p.m. PST

Seen the game a couple of times and show and looks great. Good effort by the guys dressing up and the new TV screens above the game showing clips from the movie is the icing on the cake!

Do the red LEDs on that buggy in the bottom left of the last pic light up?

ordinarybass08 Oct 2013 9:09 a.m. PST

Amazing! I remember the posts that were made about these awesome vehicles coming out of storage. Really great to see them back on the table again.

I do not need another scale.

I do not need another scale.

I do not need another scale.

Seen that before and everyone always look to be having loads of fun. Being shy I never join in myself!

I am in York that weekend so will probably miss this one for the first time in a long while, although I do have a mate coming with some orders to get for me.

Good one and hope you have fun again

Great looking game guys, have you ever thought about bringing it to SALUTE?

clarkeshire08 Oct 2013 1:25 p.m. PST

The Mad max lads main aim is to have good gaming fun that includes all the visitors at the show….Uk Wargaming conventions need more fun participation games that allow hands on gaming and encourage gamers to join in.

so come and grab a vehicle and join in the smash up:)

Hi Papa….one of these days if we get the energy we'll have to contact one of the Wargames magazines….an Article and the rules thrown in would make good reading:)
