Our latest club game was taken from the Guns at Gettysburg rule book with scaled down forces as we only have 3 hours for setting up and playing the game on Monday evenings. I think it gave a fair representation of what i visualise an American Civil war battle to have been like. You can see what you think on the teenagers Blog here-

Looks like it was a fun game! I usually stick with smaller skirmishes, but it's always cool to see a lot of nicely painted troops on the field.

Although we didn't get many moves in i'm pleased i used these rules rather than Black Powder as they give a better period feel. Wouldn't mind doing it again on an all day Saturday game in order to get a result.

Thanks for the comments. Anyone interested in 7 years war we will be doing a report on that soon. We have just got back from that game and it lasted over 7 hours! Great game.
