Those purporting to be Hanoverian or Brunswick ones appear to be erroneous?

Camcleod02 Oct 2013 5:55 a.m. PST

Most look like copies from Warflag.
And YES the Hanoverian ones are bogus.

It should be noted that Prussian Landwehr did not have flags in 1815.

This is indeed from Warflag and we must be careful to acknowledge who produced these. It is a marvellous resource and, for my Saxon Garde du Corps, a life saver. I was sure I could get what I wanted from, say, GMB, but no. Printing the flags, even with best printer at work, onto photo quality paper, not good enough. But great as a basis to paint onto.

will get you there. We must be careful to acknowledge the folk who produce this sort of work for free.

Unless they are dodgy former Warsaw Pact countries who seem to ignore all copyright of course……but even they can be so useful!

Seeing as the 69th's Colour has a glaring error, it can be assumed that all the other British line Battalions colours also have the same error.

Paul :)
