All,

I was wondering what others may have done for this problem?
The problem:
Grenz artillerist for the 3 pdr brigade guns in the "Advance guard" Divisions of many of the 1809 Austrian corps.
Per the recent book on Austrian Aux troops from Osprey by Mr. Hollins, the uniform was a white jacket and they wore a Kaskett type hat, very much different than that of the typical Austrian artillery corp.
my collection is 15/18mm.

Thanks for you suggestions and recommendations in advance

About the only things I can think of are to just use normal artillery figures with a paint job or use something like the Minifigs Wurttemburg horse artillery with a bit of file work on the crest. The helmet body is about the right shape but the crest is to big.

I think you may have to resort to head swaps. I haven't ever tried it but I would have thought it would be reasonably easy to do. Mind you it is an expensive solution.

Couldn't you use napoleonic portugues artillerymen with barretina.
Some filing to do but I think in 15mm these could be used.

@ brunet

Good idea, but I still have the issue of coat and the coat tail length.
