We're very pleased to release the first infantry codes for our upcoming Zantin Reconquest range, a stand-alone line of miniatures for warfare dominated by advanced grav tanks. Of course the queen of battles will be prominently featured as well! The primary forces are the GOTA Clans, the Zantin Empire and the fierce alien New Shung. Below are the infantry for the GOTA Clans, a freedom-loving faction of humans who have rebelled successfully against Zantin rule, until a great new Zantin emperor and his skilled generals begin the monumental task of reunifying the empire. The GOTA Ground Forces are very aggressive and well-armed, but only lightly armoured and at times lacking in discipline. They are useful in the attack but are seen as overall somewhat inferior to their opposite numbers, the Skutari of the Zantin Legions, who have been sculpted and will be released toward the end of the year. GOTA Ground Force Plasma Riflemen:
GOTA Ground Force Men-Portable Fusion Gunners:
GOTA Ground Force Team Leaders and casualty figure:
The heavy fusion gunners permit the Ground Forces some level of offensive capability against the grav tanks that dominate the battlefield. GOTA Ground Forces are carried in grav APCs. Their purpose is to hold ground and support the sleek GOTA grav tanks in battle. The infantry for both sides has been made and the GOTA Clan Ground Forces are now available: link The vehicles are in various stages of design and will be released gradually, the GOTA tanks and APCs first. The New Shung alien infantry will be released soon, their vehicles to follow early next year. Stay tuned for details! |

I am way too heavily invested in 28mm buildings and other terrain bits for you to keep coming out with such appealing 15mm. You're going to cause an issue with storage

Great looking figures Jon! Could we perhaps get a sneak peek at the Zantin forces? |

Excellent looking infantry. |

Amazing. That casualty figure would make a great suppression marker for FUBAR. |
| rvandusen | 27 Sep 2013 8:23 a.m. PST |
Yes, amazing! Those are fantastic figures. |

What does GOTA stand for? |
| khurasanminiatures | 27 Sep 2013 8:32 a.m. PST |
German Orbital Transportation Authority. The GOTA was the company given control over a planet in the 51 Pegasi System. The settlers and local authorities came from historic lands formerly known as Germany on Terra. The language spoken is a highly evolved version of German. The company no longer exists but the name came to be applied to the German-settled planets in the sector. |

Wow, very nice. Personally I think these are much better looking than someone else's "Nazis in space", plus these are 15's. |
| khurasanminiatures | 27 Sep 2013 9:01 a.m. PST |
Thanks, but these are definitely not Nazis! |
| kallman | 27 Sep 2013 9:21 a.m. PST |
Dammit! I want theses! Of course I already have three different 15mm science fiction forces but what is one more? These look fantastic. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the range. For Tomorrow's War I would say these are at least Tech level 2 but the weapons might be Tech 3. Light body armor and perhaps advanced sensors. |

Very cool figures – but if they're Space Germans wouldn't the name of the company/acronym also be in German
? "Deutsches Umlaufbahnbeforderungsmittelsautoritat" DUBA for short ;-) (Although I suppose we could call them whatever we want, can't we?) Cheers w. |

Lovely sculpts and excellent PJs. |

Can't wait to see the vehicles
Do we have an ETA on either the Soriog gunships or the Federal XM6 drone carrier yet? |

Nice figs. A good set of human(oid) infantry. I like the animation in the poses – good motion and nothing over the top. -Eli |

Great figures!! Love the weapons and that causality figure is action packed! |

Thanks Harold, can see these guys getting into a serious firefight with your dudes as they hop out of their pods. |

For the Fatherland!, Excellent detailed sculpts!. Great posing, the only thing I would worry about , they must certainly have to take a break here and their carrying such large rifles ;). Great work as always Khurasan!. |
| AWuuuu | 27 Sep 2013 11:23 a.m. PST |
Another nice line of miniatures. I like large guns on them in fact :) |
| zonk76 | 27 Sep 2013 11:26 a.m. PST |
hmmmm
depending on any future releases for this line, I have an idea for their use as well
I'll have to keep an eye out for these
Cool looking set of figures! |

Gamers constantly complain that heavy weapons on 15mm are too small to be easily recognisable on the tabletop. So I made these big enough to be noticeably different. If you saw them life size you'd see what I mean. Anyway, a rifle that's larger doesn't necessarily have to be much heavier

Man, these look great. The PJ is fantastic. Do the blowers go with this line? I want both! |
| zonk76 | 27 Sep 2013 1:36 p.m. PST |
"Anyway, a rifle that's larger doesn't necessarily have to be much heavier
." that or they've been augmented(skeletal, muscular, whatever) in such a way that it's not an issue
heh

My worst problem with older GZG miniatures was that they are all armed with pistols :> Paraphrasing Bonaparte.. God is on the side of the bid guns :> |
MrHarold | 27 Sep 2013 2:22 p.m. PST |
Thanks Harold, can see these guys getting into a serious firefight with your dudes as they hop out of their pods. Agreed, these figures have that great "hard" sci-fi look to them. Very believable! |
| ancientsgamer | 27 Sep 2013 2:47 p.m. PST |
So with all these new releases, is Khurasan actually making money yet? LOL Seriously, has got to be the company with the most prolific releases. Every time I turn around, something new! Which is a good thing by the way

Deutsches Umlaufbahnbeforderungsmittelsautoritat LOL wermacht. I love German efficiency: cramming lots of big words into one gigantic word for clarity. :) |

Effing home run Jon, knocked these out of the park. |
| Cacique Caribe | 27 Sep 2013 7:59 p.m. PST |
Khurasan: "The GOTA Ground Forces are very aggressive and well-armed, but only lightly armoured and at times lacking in discipline." Lacking in discipline? Are you sure they're Germans? Wehrmacht: "Deutsches Umlaufbahnbeforderungsmittelsautoritat" DUBA for short ;-)" So . . . shouldn't that end up being simply D.U., for really short? Dan |
| AdmiralCrackbar | 27 Sep 2013 8:24 p.m. PST |
These look amazing. Love the weapons and the helmets. The poses are damn cool too. Can't wait to see the Imperial troops they'll be facing off against. |

Lacking in discipline? Are you sure they're Germans? Read the Strategikon of Maurikios

These would make perfect Terran Union Guard light infantry
gonna have to get me some

?"Deutsches Umlaufbahnbeforderungsmittelsautoritat" DUBA for short ;-) If "the language spoken is a highly evolved version of German," it may be that those German words just happen to have the same initials as the English translation. Problem solved. |

Really really nice figs. :D |
| blooddave | 27 Sep 2013 10:12 p.m. PST |
15mm Sci-Fi just keep getting better and better, largely thanks to you, Khurasan. |
| blooddave | 27 Sep 2013 10:22 p.m. PST |
Dammit, I just bought a platoon. 3 riflemen 1 fusion, 1 leader. That's 3 squads of 6 rifles, 2 heavy weapons, and a leader, plus a platoon leader. 28 guys. (I'm excluding the casualty figure, because I don't care) I say "dammit" because my unpainted queue is already too big, and, of all the games I play, 15mm Sci-Fi is the one I get to the table the least. But they are so awesome. And $25 USD, including shipping, for a full platoon, is a great price. |
| Splod89 | 27 Sep 2013 10:36 p.m. PST |
Damn
Those are pretty awesome. I'll have to grab a few. |

| kallman | 28 Sep 2013 8:18 a.m. PST |
Have to agree thanks to Khurasan getting into the 15mm Science Fiction genre is pretty easy to do. Add to that there are a number of good rule systems out there to sweeten the deal. As many of you know my personal fav is Tomorrow's War. However Star Grunt II and 5150 are both wonderful game rules. My Christmas list to the Missus is most likely going to be lots of Khurasan models. |

I love those orders -- around early December female names in the orders! Just be sure to have them let me know its for Christmas/Hanukkah because if there's a stock issue I usually hang onto the order til the stock comes back in. One Christmas I happened to be home December 22 packing orders and I got an email from a gamer's girlfriend
"oh my god the mailman just came and your box didn't come -- what am I going to give my BF for Christmas?" Course I didn't know it was a Christmas present! So I worked something out with her (one substitution), packed up the order and walked the three miles to the post office. Express mail got it to her
December 24. So yeah, let's avoid that. |
