I've posted links to five old school wargaming videos on my El Granadero Loco wargame blog. We even have one of the Hinton's playing wargames together, something my wife would never even consider. The blog is at jdglasco.wordpress.com

Thanks for sharing.

I love the video of Jim Price, when the friend starts handling the figures and the narrator says he does not mind being disturbed… the look on his face begs to differ :-)

Interesting, thanks!

Great – and I love the way Jim's friends and neighbours get dolled up to the nines for a casual visit to inspect his soldiers….

Those are some fantastic vintage videos! I noticed that Mrs. Hinton seemed to be winning the game. I wonder if Marcus was taking a dive or was she really that good? grin

She has the best hair of any of 'em.

And yes, Mr Jim Price has that easily recognisable look of joy as all and sundry gather to pick his figures up. Poor chap. Amazing way to make figures though, sculpted from a block of lead.

However – I do not believe that Napoleon played "Little Wars" wink

Peter Cushing would seem to have been (at least in part) a solo gamer….
