Hey all, completed my review of the HWK-290. Full review here link
I've gotten in several games with and against a HWK-290. The Kyle Katarn version with Recon specialist and Moldy Crow Title card is a focus building machine. Very helpful. The more I played with it the more I liked it. -Enjoy |

Sweet review and bought my ship last night. Can't wait to take it out for a spin. |

Saw these on the con last weekend, thinking, where the heck did those come from? ;->= Thanks for the review! Doug |

The HWK-290 is from the Dark Empire PC/video game series and Kyle Kytaran is the character of note and his partner Jan that fly the Moldy Crow. |

I remember this from the video game, that was quite some time ago! I haven't seen the ship yet at retail, my area is just not getting in the Slave Ones and falcons (saw them last night for the first time in Barnes & Noble). I look forward to getting it though, nice review!!!! |

I can't bring myuself to buy it; the model is ugly and to me, not very Star Wars. |

I'll buy one if for nothing more than to add to the collection. |

For scenario play, I love it. Used 2 basic pony Rebel Operatives in a game this weekend as passenger craft the Empire was trying to stop and search using TIE Bomber/Boarding-Craft for escaping saboteurs. It will also make a great boarding craft for the Rebels. But for 100 point list style games, I'm not sure yet if 1 of them would be consistently worth the points cost for a useful named pilot. |
