Hello all, I've nearly completed a set of top down images of all the units for this battle, (as I realised I would not complete a 6mm project for the battle) and was wondering if anyone would be interested in using them, no charge of course.

They're rather nice, if I say so myself, but unfortunately,I have no idea of how to post sample pictures on here, and was none the wiser after reading the explanation of how to do it, (I was hoping that url's were unlimited relays of lager).

Anyway, if anyone else wants to refight waterloo on the cheap (I print on thin card, glue to thick card or mdf, and cover with textbook protector plastic so I can mark casualties with a pen and wipe off), we'll work out a way to get them to you, nae bother.

As it's my first, belated post on tmp, I'd like to thank many of the knowledgable folk here, who tend to answer my questions before I get round to posting.

Cheers

You should look at putting them on junior general.

I would be interested. Do you have any way of posting the file some where?
Thanks

NBATemplate22 Sep 2013 7:27 a.m. PST

Yes, I'd be very interested too. Thanks.

If the files are small enough can you email them directly if we let you have our email addresses? Or if they're very large you can use a big file sending service like: free.mailbigfile.com to send them to us. Or if you have enough webspace you could put them temporarily there for us to download.

I imagine Junior General would probably also be interested if you'd like to offer them there.

Cheers,

David

hahahahaha…..you don't have a few wives at home knocking these out by any chance papalazaru ?

I did Austerlitz a few years back using 3mm balsa wood which I painted up myself, which was OK….but I love your idea and it would be a great addition to the overall look. I would also be very interested indeed.

Papalazaru, I've just been to Junior General and right-clicked them all – all except Pruss5a, which came up blank.

I can see these being useful as a "Travel Wargame" on holiday or at conferences – very light impact on the baggage allowance.

And with a quick re-name, they'd be great for many more battles than Waterloo, or "what if" scenarios.

Thank you very much for doing this.

papalazaru501 Oct 2013 5:54 a.m. PST

You're welcome, if you scroll down on 5a, you'll see the stuff, just the top half is blank, cheers

D'Oh!

Got that now. Thanks again.

Lovely work. Thank you for making them available!

papalazaru502 Oct 2013 5:44 a.m. PST

you're welcome, I did these as a personal project (I was hoping someone had done something similar, but couldn't find much on the interweb), but thought they might be of use.

As footslogger says, it would be good to have some generic units instead of specific, for different campaigns, and smaller games.

Anyway I'll see how this project goes, cheers

NBATemplate03 Oct 2013 2:46 p.m. PST

Papalazaru – I have now received them, thanks. (I did also email you but thought I'd better post here too, in case you didn't receive the email.)

Papalazaru – I am curious as to what rules these units were designed for.
