I have some D&D prepainted plastic trolls, but size and style wise they are all over the map. Who else makes good trolls? Edit: I guess I should add I lean more towards the D&D troll from the monster manual. Cheers, Xin |

Another vote for otherworld. Also the arms/heads are interchangable between kits, so I am lead to believe. So if there are not enough poses for you, crosskit for more variety! Damon. |

The absolute best Trolls were the Fantasy Tribe Trolls from Citadel in the 1980s. |

I like the old GW ones, kinda mean, kinda funny
lots of character. |

For a different, more bulky look, but probably not too D&D-like, there's the trolls from Old Glory's Ghost line link |

I really like this Northstar one, mainly because it's based on Norse mythology. link

Not available yet as the Kickstarter only recently finished but the trolls from Warploque look great
(one on the right of the picture was in mid-sculpt) Will be available from the guys that did this: link |

OK, not the D&D style "Barry Manitroll" with the big nose, but just for completeness' sake, Gamezone trolls.
Bronze Age trolls.

I like the Ral Partha Fantasy Armies trolls myself. RalPartha Europe has the full range while Iron Wind Metals only has three and two of those only come in 12 packs. They're a little more advanced than the usual D&D troll being armed with weapons and all but they're still ropey and long nosed. |

I'm partial to the 1990s Citadel Stone Trolls. They're apparently still for sale: link There's multiple poses, see here: link |
