Thanks. Featherstone also had a book about solo wargaming. Don't think there was much he didn't cover. His book on naval wargaming was one of the first I owned. Recently picked up the e book version.

@CampyF – if you dig around the review section you should find reviews of all (or nearly all) of Featherstone's books. Including Solo Wargames – which is a bit of an oddity. Great book, essential reading for the solo gamer, but, well, I'll let you read the review.

Are you aware that there are now PDF sunscriptions, which are (I think) $10 USD less than the paper copies? An advantage is that the PDFs have colour pictures – they are grey scale in the printed copies.
