To give credit were credit is due, the original design for both the DG Hardsuit and Antenociti's Komodo are by Alexander Iglesias, a.k.a. Flying Debris. He also designed DG's German Mech (based off his Fiddler mech, which, iirc, has also been licensed as a very expensive miniature kit in its original form) and the original concept for Antenociti's Russian troopers, and dose a lot of work for the newer Battletech books.

And yes, the powered armor flying debris designed, licensed by DG, is also intentionally inspired by Maschinen Krieger.
