The second day of Pacificon found the Wooden Wars armies converging somewhat downriver from the previous battle.

About half the contestants were return players from the previous day, many sporting medals and swapping war stories from earlier engagements. Units were assigned and the battle began with infantry on both sides march moving to the bridges, with fierce fighting, cannonade, and cavalry charges to follow in what was truly an epic battle!

It is nice to see children playing wargames.

Do you have patterns for the figures and rules for their use?

Balin Shortstuff15 Sep 2013 4:34 p.m. PST

Those look beautiful.

Sundance,
There was a kickstarter to get the laser cutter to make the initial batch of figures

All the kickstarter backers' rewards have be fulfilled, so the figures & rules will be available soon via a retail web site.

79th- your comment totally cracked me up, when you put it that way!
on a more somber note,on my blog I speak to the subject that my games have many younger participants(which is totally cool),and how dealing with in game rewards systems like medals,in particular as not everybody gets one, can sometimes be an issue.

I'd love any feedback from you all,as I am constantly striving to give the best gaming experiences both on and after the battles.

Cheers
