The author said: (with translator). "One of my very good friend shared with me the image of a remarkable collection of "Brauerbogen Jahrigen Kreig 1756-1763". This is one of the best, in my opinion, the materials on the topic. So
.. welcome Prussians I know that there is no copyright, and I respect it. Hopefully layout of these materials is not a violation of it due to the fact that, since the publication of these tablets have passed a lot of time" Main page link For translation you can used. translate.google.com/#ru/en Hope you enjoy!. Tricorne Here is a rough & ready translation of the Russian text on the site linked in Tango)1's original message. It is based on google but I have a little Russian and did double check some of the specific passages just to be sure. The site owner is seems to claim there is no copyright (utter nonsense?) yet hopes he does not violate it
confused? I am. He also misses out the 7 from the "Brauer Bogen" title. One of my very good friend shared with me the image of a remarkable collection of "Brauerbogen Jahrigen Kreig 1756-1763". This is one of the best, in my opinion, the materials on the topic. So
.. Welcome Prussians I know that there is no copyright, and I respect it. Hopefully layout of these materials is not a violation of it due to the fact that, since the publication of these tablets have passed a lot of time <q/> |

From his last sentence, Friend Vassily does expect the material to have been copyrighted originally, but assumes (hopes) this has expired by now. Something akin to "believed to be in the public domain". Copyright periods do vary between countries, so he may well have acted in good faith. If someone is aware of the specific, current copyright situation regarding these plates, maybe they could warn him to get in touch with the holders? |
